We stopped at a beach resort town called Pichilemu. It had a great buzz and it wasn't even the tourist season yet. This place must really hop during the holidays. 

One of the stops along our route was the Rapel dam located in the O'Higgins region of Chile. Its construction created the largest reservoir in Chile containing 0.7 billion cubic meters of water while the power station generates 377 MW. 

The kids wanted to check out the city zoo. Personally, I find most zoos to be uninspiring and usually feel a little sad for the animals involved.
