Our friends in Puerto Rico took us to a roadside restaurant called Alavara. I tried the skirt steak on a recommendation. I need to learn more about culinary review terminology, but all I can muster right now is wow! Washed it down with a local IPA while enjoying the conversation and music.

Another sign that the stars are aligned, Liam saw his first Bugatti parked behind the restaurant. Can’t say that I am a fan of supercars now, but I was when I was a boy so I understand Liam’s joy at the sight of the car. He thought the first place he would spot the Bugatti Veyron would be Dubai. There is a bit of a debate brewing about whether the car was authentic or a kit car. Would the stars still be aligned if the car turned out to be a knock off? I think so. The food, company and ambiance was amazing. A great beginning to our trip. Thank you Garcia family.
