Pucon......Part 1

After we left Valparaiso and headed back to Santiago, my parents joked about getting on a bus called Pachamama. It went down through some of southern Chile and stopped at different sights. The catch was you were on it for a week and 7 hours every day. You stopped at various different hostels, cabins, etc. And guess how I spent my week? I think we were at the third stop and I was excited because we got to stay for two nights. The name of the town is Pucon and it had a travel agency, so there was so much to do. You could hike volcanos, go paragliding, dirt biking, surfing, sky diving, and much more.
When we got to the hostel that we were staying at (which was picked out by Pachamama) we looked around. It was pretty much a hallway that had rooms on either side. As well as a kitchen and lounge/dining room area. It had already been pretty cramped but when we got to our room, it was way worse. There was a bunk bed and I slept on top. Not to mention there was no ladder or anything to get on, and I needed a push. There was also two other beds on different sides of the room, which my parents slept on. When my dad was getting in his bed, to his horror he smelled such a terrible stench and started coughing. He literally thought there was a dead rat under the bed. He had to go two nights with it. When it was time to brush our teeth, there were only two bathrooms. One of which we knew about, so we were waiting a half hour. Then the best thing that could've possibly happened, happened. The biggest pooch/puppy/mutt walked in through the door. He just looked around like nothing had happened. He was so cute and so big. Ten seconds later he just walked out. We later named him Bear.
At the travel agency my mom and sister decided to hike a snow covered volcano. You had to be twelve and up to do it. My dad and I decided to go horse back riding for the third time, for a bit more experience. In the morning my mom and my sister had to get up at five and take a van to the volcano. My dad and I slept in till ten, and on the other hand had to meet a van at eleven. That would take us to another volcano, where the horses would be. When we arrived, got on the horses, crossed a river, and started to go up a mountain. On the mountain there were these terrible fat, blood sucking bees. They were all over my horse and began to fly over to me. Luckily I had a thorn stick and smacked most of them off my horse. When we got to the top, we took a lunch break, and headed back down. When we got to the bottom there was a French lady who was also with us on Pachamama. I guess her horse hated her because where there was huge thick branches sticking out, her horse went full speed right into them.
Of course the branches didn't hit the horse but only the lady, every one else in the group including the guide, came rushing over and asked if she was okay. She said yes and we continued. But later I guess the horse thought that wasn't enough for her and once again he went full speed into even thicker and stiffer branches. At this point the guide gave her a stick and let her smack the crap out of the horse.
We finally got back to the agency. The girls were back early. We asked them what happened and they said they turned back because it was too windy, and cold, and, there was too much more to go. After that, we went on the roof of the agency and had some cokes and beers. The next morning when it was time to leave, I went outside the hostel, looking for Bear and found a secret room with darts and a pool table. I played for a half hour and then went to sit down when I felt a hard body snoring beneath me...
