Train Park

Today, we decided to go to the train park because we were just laying around. The park is like a museum with little shops and GINORMOUS slides. The first one had a super-freaky, tall spiral staircase up to the top. It had two ways to go down. One was close to the side which made it faster because it was shorter, and the other was longer and less bent. First, I went down the long one with Tim and Maeve. It went smoothly, so we decided to go down the fast one together. I was so freaked out of falling and slipping that I slowed myself down. I did it again by myself and didn't slow down. I was fine, thank God, but Maeve didn't have the same luck. She wiped out hard. There was gravel laid out perfectly for someone to slip. She scraped her elbow and leg.

After that, we decided to go get some cap guns (plastic guns you load with gun powder strips that make loud noises but don't shoot). We had broken one gun and the other was not very good. We went to buy two guns and two packs of ammo. Tim's dad rejected the second gun because we didn't need it, so we returned it.
Later, we went on the second slide which had an amazingly tall staircase where it would have been easy to fall the 70 feet down. It was three different slides in one. You would walk up 20 feet and get a not so bad slide. Another 10 feet was a pretty bad one. But another 20 feet was certain death, so that's the one I went on first. I went with Tim in front of me as a human shield and we zoomed down. We shockingly survived only because I slowed down. I went again, by myself. This time I didn't slow down. I was flying and right when I saw the light of day something happened that nobody didn't expect... I fell on the side of my face, crushing my leg. I felt a sharp pain in my side, so I stuck my hand in my pocket and found shards of what was left of my cap gun. I laughed so hard, but it was ruined by the couple laughing their asses off at me. I just stared at them as I do with all the locals that stare at me. I decided I had it with this park, so I left with a permanent scar in my brain.
