Miraculously, I didn't break the machine. Somehow I made it work. All you had to do was hover your hand over the sensor and it would make a little light on the screen. I could move my hand and it would move the little light as well, but it was very sensitive. Then I could hold my hand on a location in Dubai for five seconds and it would take me there (virtually). It was like it would fly me down the side of the Burj Khalifa to the place I picked. You could 'visit' the marina, a mosque, the desert and much more.
Afterwards, we took a few more pictures, looked at the gift shop, and then decided to go down to the other floor included in our tour. We also thought this would be the floor where we would meet my dad and sister. It turned out it was one floor above their floor. We weren't allowed on that floor with the people who didn't pay as much money as we did. We had our pictures taken with funny backgrounds put in on a green screen, but decided not to pay sixty dollars for one. We had to call my dad and say we would meet them at the ground floor. But after the call we got into a long conversation with a couple from Ireland. When we finally got down to the ground floor, we went to a popular burger place in the mall and ate lunch.
A few days later we went to a go-kart race track to finally use my Christmas present. I was not old enough to race on the outside course. So we went to a different indoor track that sucked. There was a turn every two feet so I couldn't get past 2 mph. I didn't make the top 50, I might've made the top ten thousand.
After that we went to re celebrate Maeve's birthday in Abu Dhabi. We went to a giant water park. It was really fun and they had tons of different slides. I cut my elbow on the slide that came with a mat. I didn't pressure myself to go down the scary slides.
Dubai will forever be my favorite place on Earth.
