The kids wanted to check out the city zoo. Personally, I find most zoos to be uninspiring and usually feel a little sad for the animals involved. This time wasn't any different. However, there were educational opportunities present so we walked there from our apartment. It was difficult to take good photos of the animals since they are mostly behind glass or wire fencing, so this is the best we could do with our phone cameras.
